How I Create Micro Offers From Scratch
Creating a Micro Offer has always been one of the most challenging topics for a lot of folks, including myself.
And it's often because we end up becoming a victim to mental masturbation.
We end up going back and forth thinking about the product, then the page, then the bonuses, the upsells...all the elements at once making it an overwhelming process.
This is what stops us dead in our tracks.
We have skill, we have talent, we have incredible success stories...but that doesn't translate to "I should create a Micro Offer about THIS!"
Even just creating a cool product doesn't mean it will sell either.
Amazon is littered with books from good people who poured their heart out only to make a handful of sales.
But why does this happen?
Why do some books hit the best seller list and others don't?
Why do some offers go viral and sell into the millions while many never make it past a few sales?
Taking a step back, I realized this looking at dozens of top selling books and offers yesterday that the ONE thing that matters most is the "first impression".
The reality is, you CAN and DO judge everything from it's cover.
Give a homeless man a shower + clean shave, put him on a yacht for a day with a $10,000 suit, beautiful watch paired with a beautiful woman and most immediately assume he's rich and that he has life sorted out.
Nobody questions what's underneeth.
And it's funny because I've seen people exactly like this who look and appear like they have it all because they have the house and the car...but are riddled with stress and debt.
Yet, no one looks that deep at first.
It's just what's on the outside that matters.
This made me realize something VITALLY important:
Trying to create the product at first is almost a complete waste of time.
The only thing that matters in the creation phases is to hook that person into reading the page.
If nobody reads the page or cares about the message, nobody buys the product.
Which is why the first 7 lines of your sales page are the most important lines that will dictate the success or failure of your offer.
And the way we do this is by focusing 90% of our time and energy on the North Star Promise.
This is all that matters.
Product names can come after...
Module names can come after...
If you start with making a North Star Promise that immediately grabs the attention of your ideal dream client, you've got em.
Then the rest of the page you simply have to prove you can deliver on your promise.
Simple.
If you want to practice this now even just talking outload, say this line and plug in all the things you can possible do for a client or you've done yourself.
"[See] How [# OF CLIENTS] Got [RESULT] In [TIME FRAME] Using [MECHANISM]
Allowing me and my clients to [TANGIBLE OUTCOMES] - Without [THINGS THEY DON'T HAVE or HATE]"
Example I made up in 30 seconds:
"See How I Enrolled Over 111 Clients Into a Premium Recurring Revenue Productized Offer in 8 Months Flat Using a Dead Simple Canva Doc
Allowing me to stop taking sales calls, triple down on family time and stay off the socials ✌️
👆Does this follow the exact template?
Pretty close, but not exactly.
And I always recommend to never limit creativity.
This is about starting with a framework and writing.
As long as you've got the key elements in your North Star Promise, you'll be golden.
We'll be spending a big chunk of time on these next week inside 3 Buyers a Day.
Because I know if you can get this, the rest of the offer is easy.
Practically fill in the blanks.
And with a little AI magic, you can move even faster.
